Privacy notice
Updated 3 November 2026
This notice covers the personal data Dekka holds about you as an account holder. Data inside your own applications belongs to you and is described on where your data lives. A full notice prepared with legal counsel will replace this page before paid plans open.
What we collect
Your name and email address, your GitHub username if you sign in with GitHub, the projects and settings you create, and security records such as sign-in times, IP addresses and browser details. If you apply for the pilot we keep what you tell us in that form.
Why
To run your account, keep it secure, reply to you, and improve Dekka. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
Our hosting provider, our email delivery provider (Zend), and GitHub when you connect it. We’ll publish the full list of these processors, with where each one processes data, before paid plans open.
Cookies and analytics
Dekka sets two cookies that are needed for the site to work: one keeps you signed in and one protects your forms against forgery. With your permission we also count page views and a few actions, such as sending a pilot application. Those counts go to Dekka’s own servers rather than to an analytics company, they use no cookies, and they don’t identify you. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account by writing to privacy@dekka.cloud. We aim to answer within 30 days.
